Landscape

The main habitat of the Namib-Naukluft is the Savannah.

The Namib-Naukluft has amazing desert landscapes. A famous photo motif in Sossusvlei is Dune 45, as well as nearby Deadvlei, a white pan of dead trees set against massive red dunes. A less visited but also very picturesque sight is the much more lush Naukluft Massif, a mountainous area with deep gorges and crystal clear springs.
