Landscape

The main habitat of the Mudumu (Zambezi Region) is the Wetland.

Much of the habitat in the park is a mixture of wetlands and woodland, making it a very unusual landscape for Namibia in places. Papyrus swamps are a specialised habitat for many species and in the floodplains you can see the large herds. Sausage trees, leadwood, figs and teak are just some of the trees that adorn the landscape.
