The Lake Manyara is a National Park in Tanzania in the provinces of Arusha. The park was established on 01.01.1960 and covers an area of 0.33 km². The Lake Manyara offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.
Lake Manyara is a small park at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment and lies to the west of the capital Arusha. A large part of the park is covered by Lake Manyara. Its groundwater forest offers a nice change from the more savannah-dominated parks.
