The Kruger is a National Park in South Africa in the provinces of Mpumalanga, Limpopo. The park was established on 26.03.1898 and covers an area of 19.485 km². The Kruger is a Big Five reserve and offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.
The park is the largest and best known in southern Africa. It is located in the north-east of the country and stretches 360 km from north to south and 65 km from east to west. Zimbabwe borders the park to the north and Mozambique to the east. An extensive road network, also suitable for 2WD cars, makes the Kruger one of the best safari parks for self-drivers.
