The Arusha is a National Park in Tanzania in the provinces of Arusha. The park was established on 01.01.1960 and covers an area of 0.552 km². The Arusha offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.
The park in the north-east of the country lies close to the Kenyan border between Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro and is accessible via Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha. The national park is very accessible, but is not on many safari itineraries. This is mainly because the Big Five are not seen here. The park is good for climbing and bird watching.
