Tsowa Safari Island

Probably the best hotel/lodge I have stayed in. The staff is amazing, very friendly, always trying their best to make your stay as good as possible. It was great talking to them and learn about their country, animals, their culture... The food is delicious (the chicken curry mango wrap was soooo good). Very good activities (game drives, walking safaris, sunset cruises, fishing,..). The manager or guide will ask you every evening which activities you want to do the next day. And last but not least, the lodge is beautiful, surrounded by nature. The tents are big enough and the outside shower was a big plus! (you also have a shower inside the tent). This place is expensive but worth it. I hope to come back one day.

Lovely lovely lovely. We came from a mission trip in Mozambique, and a holiday in Cape Town. What stood out to me was the quiet and private feel after being in bustling cities. Tsowa has thought of everything for a beautiful and relaxing holiday. I would not come here to try and see the big five. We were not able to see any lions, and since rhinos have to be guarded from poachers 24 hours a day there were no rhinos close by. I will be returning for an anniversary trip just to relax though. Highly recommended

This place is super lux. Best tents you could imagine. The chef is excellent, considering you're on an island on the Zambezi. The guides are delightful, knowledgeable and keen for you to have a great time. Plenty of other activities, most of which are included. We didn't see all of the big 5, but that wasn't a big deal given how cool the whole experience was.

Amazing luxury island jungle resort surrounded by herds of elephants and abundant bird life. Superb tents next to the river, all seperste and very private with every amenity including indoor and outdoor showers. Gourmet food and wine, with extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, great vehicles and boats for game drives and cruises on the river.

If you’re seeking seclusion, you’ll find it here. This small lodge has exclusive use of the island, although some elephants often come ashore too. The ‘tents’ are comfy en-suite creations with outdoor and indoor showers, and the main lodge has a plunge pool. Good food and great hospitality.

Recently my family and I stayed at this luxury lodge . Upon arrival we were met with the smiles of the friendly staff , whom should be commended on their excellent service . On our stay we were taken on beautiful game drives and exquisite sundowner drinks on the boat . With regards to our super comfortable rooms, the outdoor shower looking out onto the river was a favourite of mine.Highly recommended for any outdoor-loving travellers
