Was received by friendly staff and in short order our group were checked in. Two day strategy session was organized exactly as requested. Dinner, lunch and breakfast was of high quality. Special mention for the staff for “rescuing” us from a massive thunder storm after our fantastic Boma braai. Facilities outstanding with lots of attention to detail.

The staff is very friendly and accomodating, they have no mood swings or whatsoever and always willing to help(all of them), the place itself was a great, we went quadbiking and it was an amazing experience even though my quad bike got stuck as it was my first time using it, I would definitely to someone who has never been there

SO disappointing. The whole reserve is still being built so expect to see construction materials littered everywhere in nature and expect to hear construction sounds throughout the day (starting at 8am-5 pm). It's right next to a busy road, so any bush sounds are drowned out by trucks and cars going past. There are very few animals, and the ones there are white, as the owner is obsessed with collecting white animals (like their resident white reindeer and small, Namibian bat-eared foxes they keep locked in cage). It's definitely NOT a conservation-focused place. The reserve manager is not very friendly or accommodating and shifts blame onto guests for complaining about excessively hot rooms (the Pods) and not having sufficient electricity to cool them (the solar battery is tiny and runs out quickly so forget about using the aircon during the summer.) It's also WAY too expensive for what you get. Maybe none of the above would bother others, but we wanted a real bush getaway, away from the city with the sights and sounds of the bush, animal viewing, and enough amenities (like aircon) to really be comfortable and have our stress melt away (this was our only getaway this year and we saved up for it). I was bitterly disappointed and spent much of the first day just devastated and more stressed than ever. We wanted to leave early, but our trip was turned around by a very nice lady at reception who went out of her way to salvage our trip and relocated us to the stunning log cabin, which had stunning views and so much privacy (hence the 2 stars). All in all, though... wouldn't visit again and would never recommend to anyone.

This place is Heaven on earth! Me and my husband spent 2 nights in the Cabin/Pods and we were treated like royalty, it was the most wonderful experience, not only is everything breathtaking but the staff is beyond kind, helpful and will go out of their way to make your time special. This is truly a hidden Gem in our Country and so Unique to experience a real African adventure. We cannot wait to go back!

Exceptional service from staff. They even helped us with food regardless that we had forgotten to book 5 days in advance. A bit high on the price but I think it was an amazing experience in the mountains. I would go again
