Swakopmund Plaza Hotel

Great location stupidly poor service. Rooms not being cleaner properly. Waited 45 minutes to get booked in even though my reservation was made months ago. Not worth the hype! There is beter hotels with service for the same price. Reception not taking their duties seriously, a great social place. Mangers apologies sound more rehearsed that a Christmas carol!

Swakopmund Plaza Hotel is in a good location of Swamopmund, and it’s also ideally situated for nearby activities in Walvis Bay. Most activities you can book will pick you up here. My room was like an apartment setting with a dining area, living room with tv, a separate bedroom, and a nice bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly as well. The balcony was great too with fantastic biews of the nearby dunes. The street was safe enough to park out front. There wasn’t a need to park in the garage. The staff was very friendly and was able to check me in early. They also booked me an excursion in Walvis Bay. The hotel is also located close to several tasty restaurants. My only complaint is that one evening there was a private event which took over the restaurant, and they made a ridiculous amount of noise on the street with revving engines and squealing tires. It was honestly a lot to put up with. However, if I were to find myself in Swakopmund again, I would consider staying here again.

Stayed here for a duration of three nights. The location is strategic, the room is spacious, and, most importantly, it is clean. The staff members are very friendly and accommodating. Additionally, there is a conveniently located underground parking facility.

Rooms are clean and staff are great. Great location, close to everything and great spot to rest up. The interiors have this indoor/outdoor thing going on, which is great in the summer, but on cooler days and nights it does get a little chilly in the hallways. Otherwise had a great experience.

Modern, clean rooms, good and friendly service. A view of the ocean would be great, but then again, you will pay so much more. Walking distance to the beach, though...

Average all round. No restaurant. Some shopping and other restaurants (e.g., The Tug, The Jetty, and Kücki's) within walking distance.

The hotel location is quite easy to find, it is just in front of the KFC! The service is good and the food option is plenty as well! I travelled during the Christmas season, the atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and helpful! They helped us to book an appointment for sea sightseeing!

Never book here if you value your money, towels are so old and dirty . The linen has stains ! Housekeepers steal and hope you don’t notice and manager won’t help you get your staff back . Tissue is never there . Just horrible
