Family friendly. Good value for money. Took the meal package a good decision as not much food options around.

Beautiful place with very nice cabins. The restaurant is really cute too. Staff are friendly. Dinner and breakfast was included for us, with dinner being appetizers with 3 selections (salad, soup, and forgot the other one oops), entrées selection of pork or brisket with 4 options of sides which you could choose up to any amount. And pecan pie as dessert. Breakfast had a variety of ham and cheese, cereals, yogurt and pastries, and you could also order eggs to be prepared to your liking. Would definitely recommend! Only thing is that wifi was not as good.

Overall a good experience game wise, good location next to the river where we could watch elephants and a hippo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely people. The accommodation was OK, with the only issue being our shower was impossible to get the temperature right, while at the same time it would flood if left on too long. The biggest thing they could fix would be the food. Breakfasts were great at the lodge, but the dinners were always a let down, especially more so if you don't eat meat. The veggies and sides were pretty much the same every night and not very good. Even us vegetarians left plates unfinished. If you are vegetarian, then they just leave off the meat and give you the sides, which was disappointing since we did ask in advance when booking if we could have vegetarian options. The packed breakfast for game drives was also a let down, with us also being packed ham and cheese sandwiches twice, when we specifically reminded every day that we don't eat meat.

We loved our stay, but getting there was a bit of a nightmare, as we did not know we have to book a day permit to drive through the Kruger Park. We also did not know that they limit day visitors, so we could not drive through the Park. We recommend that visitors to this Lodge must be notified beforehand, as the other road is slow and with many speed bumps. and bad roads and township-driving. The lodge itself was perfect with lovely views from the pool decks and also the restaurant. The food was great, and room was nice.

This is a five star place with some caveats. The location and service are wonderful. These are "tents" with individual bathrooms in one little hut and an individual kitchen in another little hut accessed outside your tent. There are lounge chairs facing the river and on the other side is the park, meaning you can recline with a bottle of wine and see the glory of Kruger before you. (Maybe I was lucky).

Absolutely fantastic place, rooms are clean and spacious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Great to have a view over the river with hippos (and accidentally elephants passing by). Very close to Kruger gate. Recommend this place.

The rooms were immaculate, the staff was friendly and their service was commendable and highly professional. The lodge prides itself in quality hospitality. I give you guys 5 stars. I enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The location of the lodge is simply perfect, you get to see some of Africa's majestic animals a stone throw away. We got the opportunity to see some hippos and elephants from the comfort of the lodge - simply magnificent.

Great service here and staff is always willing to help. The room didn't have windows but just a bit patio door. Works just as well if you aren't picky. The room has a mosquito net over the bed because these rooms typically isn't made tight and little insects and mosquito will get in. The dinner and breakfast was included and very good. We enjoyed it very much. Great location to Kruger gate.
