About Puschka Farm

Enjoy an affordable country escape on a lifestyle farm in the beautiful Naauwpoort Valley. The farm has 3 well-presented country cottages from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms, each with a private plunge pool. Our cottages are ideal for romantic break aways and/or for family holidays. We can accommodate groups of 2-8 people on a self-catering basis. Breakfast can be included if arranged at the time of booking. There are walking trails on the farm and up to the top of the hill for amazing views. For birdwatchers, the farm has a prolific bird life and you may even have the chance of seeing some of the local game such as kudu, jackal, bushbuck, warthog and leopard which are rarely seen. Guests can go for walks, go mountain biking or go and visit the animals on the farm such as nguni cattle, meatmaster sheep, chickens, and horses.

Stone cottage is a perfect quick getaway from JHB. Needed to get out of the city chaos desperately and Linda allowed us to bring our cat (for her first trial holiday) which many pet friendly places said no to. The cottage was perfect and exactly what we needed and wanted. R&R in front of the fireplace doing nothing and seeing no one. Very clean for a stone cottage and well thought out, we didn’t wish for anything except more time. We enjoyed the short walks we took and visit to the farm cottage next door. Our first time having sheep baaa-ing in the background and adding to the ambiance. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful break.

My partner and I really enjoyed this getaway. Smart (one of the workers) was extremely helpful and friendly. The hosts were helpful and accommodating as well. The rooms were very clean and comfortable however the hot water from the geyser gets extremely hot, so be careful. It was a beautiful and relaxing experience and we will definitely be making our way back soon! :)

I stayed at Puschka House. It has 4 bedrooms and is well spaced. The kitchen is large and well equipped to cater for large families of a group of friends. Bearing in mind that this is a pet friendly accommodation, yet it was really clean! No evidence of pets being in the house or outside before our arrival, which is an indication of how meticulous they are at cleaning. The garden is huge and the 2 dogs had a blast running around and exploring. I loved the fact that the entire unit is fenced off so you have full privacy and I never had to worry about the dogs getting out. The walking trails are stunning and the climb to the top of the kloof was strenuous but the view was worth it! Dogs absolutely loved their stay and were very sad to leave! Linda is an absolutely fabulous host and if there are any problems, will sort them out quickly. There is literally no MTN reception in the area, but who needs their cell phones while away right?

The place is great! The only ick was the flies!.. Please bring some repellent! I love everything about Puschka farm. So much to explore on the trails. Casual visits from peaceful animals. Great views(we went on a full moon)🥰 Beyond peaceful! Off the grid.

Just an awesome option for a breakaway, secluded and rustic, you can get here in a non 4x4 vehicle, but a 4x4 or SUV would be better. Lovely views from the veranda, nice short walks and a few nice bits n bobs from the little farm shop. The meat pies are superb! So is the homemade milk milktart! Great variety of birds too. Its off grid so the place runs on 12v lights with a gas stove and fridge, there is an inverter to charge cell phones and laptops etc. And if it's overcast the 'donkey' water heater will be lit for hot water. Just an awesome option for a breakaway!

I can't give this place enough stars. Visited in October. Exactly what our souls needed at the time. This place was secluded and private and perfect getaway for couples. Had the best time here with my boyfriend.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at Puschka Farm. A weekend was too short and we will definitely be back. The views are amazing. The cottage is well equipt with all the necessities. And the natural pool is just the cherry on top.

What an amazing place! We spent the weekend at the writer’s cottage with our baby and two dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful cottage and splash pool. We had a lovely walk in the morning and we’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy the picnic areas. What made our weekend even more amazing was the gracious hosts, Linda and Peter. Highly recommended
