Clean and well laid out facilities nestled in a serene location, with an attention to detail and comfort. The owners, Alet and her husband, were so accommodating and ensured a very enjoyable stay. The animals, forest environment and beautiful surrounds make this a great spot for a tranquil getaway!

We recently spent 3 nights here and we were blown away by the facilities, rooms and Friendly staff. It was so nice sitting on the deck with my cup of tea watching the resident springboks run around. The Zebra, Llama's, potbelly pig and other farm animals make the experience more unique. It has nice kid friendly play area as well. Will definitely be back again.

What an amazing weekend... Great size tents with all amenities, all appliances of good quality. The owners are friendly, kind, and welcoming. Each camo site is private with good spacing. Love the wild life on the camp site

It's the little things that make Otium great. Ice, cold water, wood, fire starters, kindling, and even some rusks waiting when you arrive. Alet goes above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. We've been to Otium twice and will definitely make it annual retreat!

The campsite area is on a slope and, therefore, not level, which makes setting up a tent or overland vehicle a challenge. It was extremely hot under the pine trees. The name suggests a water rich environment, but unfortunately, this was not the case, and we did not ask before we arrived. The bathroom facilities were great. We decided to move to another campsite.

We had a wonderful stay with our family, enjoyed the tipi and alpaca tent, especially the hot tub and braai area. Great place and friendly hosts, and fantastic facilties! Value for money, would recommend to anyone who enjoys nature, will be back.

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a camping adventure that left me with nothing but fantastic memories. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the owner, Tart (sorry if I mispronounced) with the warmest hospitality that truly made this experience extraordinary. The campground itself was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled amidst picturesque natural surroundings, it provided a serene and tranquil atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The facilities were impeccably maintained, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay (depends on what type of camp you paid for). There is a beautiful hiking trail at the back with fynbos blooming all over, and the overview of the landscape is speechless. Definitely coming back next year.
