This place is situated in a beautiful garden. Really picturesque, and would be an ideal stay for families. The oestrichs were really cute. There were alot of families. If however you are a couple I would find different options in town. The beds in B wing were bad, and we both had a sore back when we woke up. The a/c was a bit weird. The breakfast does have many options, but felt more like a cantina. No service. Bread was stale, and it just felt meh. I found a piece of metal in the minced meat! The restaurant was overpriced, for what it was. They tried to make it somewhat fancy, but it didn't taste that good. Not balanced tastes. Tried alot better prepared oestrich. Go to town and eat at fancier restaurant for less.

A good choice of accommodation, beer ice cold, featuring wines from three local vineyards plus local fresh produce used in the restaurant. To really appreciate the immediate local area, a three night stopover is the only way to go!!!!

This is a gem of a restaurant, after driving the Swartbergpass from Price Albert. It has an old-world charm and so tranquil. Right next to a flowing stream with farm animals. Our dog was allowed on the deck on the outside overlooking the stream. This restaurant is a historical place as it is built on top of the old mill, which is 200 years old. The bobotie was excellent. The same can be said about the delicious toffie desert. We had a great waiter.

We stayed in one of the glamping tents on the river and loved it! Surprisingly luxurious bathroom and even had aircon. The bird life around the deck is so peaceful to watch and I love just walking around the grounds and interacting with all the animals. I would recommend keeping some time aside to immerse yourself in the nature around you. Felt very safe at all times and staff and manager at front desk very helpful.

The setting is amazing, the epitome of peace and tranquility! Willow trees, birds and a constant flowing little river that runs a few meters from where you are sitting. The food and menu are great.

The room was lovely and perfect for an overnight stay, offering comfort with a king-size bed and a warm comforter. Although my photos captured a beautiful blue sky, the weather was freezing and icy cold, with snow on the Matroosberge. Unfortunately, this prevented us from experiencing the outdoor activities and amenities such as the animals, grassy walking paths and pools. Despite the cold weather, the proximity to numerous tourist destinations like the Cango Caves and nearby wildlife sanctuaries made it a worthwhile visit.

Stunning cabin with view overlooking the dam. Location great near the Cango Caves. Delicious meals in restaurant. Very well kept and neat garden. Was a treat staying there!.
