We have stayed here 4 times and every time it's a win. Basic room but everything you need. Kids absolutely love the animals especially the ponies! We loved lounging at the pool. Restaurant so convenient, no need to cook. Thank you Old Mill!

Good family option for accomodation with a nice full breakfast (though with added on price); rooms are decent value for money, though not the cleanest. Area is beautiful and nice to walk around (couldn't find advertised 'hiking trails ') Note: Lower rating for restaurant that was way overpriced for what they offer

A good choice of accommodation, beer ice cold, featuring wines from three local vineyards plus local fresh produce used in the restaurant. To really appreciate the immediate local area, a three night stopover is the only way to go!!!!

Beautiful place, right in the middle of the mountains. Plenty of grass and area for kids to run and play. They have multiple types of unity’s for all sizes, especially great for families. I’ve stayed here twice now and I really love it. They have wildlife such as ostriches and bucks on the property, goats, bunnies etc. A very nice play area for kids, multiple swimming pools and service for the rooms to be cleaned. As far as I can tell all places have braai areas and TVs. There is wifi but it’s not very good (which is fine), there is no cell signal at all where we were staying. It’s perfectly situated between the Cango Caves, The Ostrich Farm and the Wildlife Sanctuary so it’s the best spot for when you want to go site seeing. It’s just outside of the town so there’s no quick drive to the shop but it’s not a big deal. Our only complaint was that there were guests next to us who had a weekend party playing loud music non stop and there was nothing management could do about it. So it’s luck of the draw, usually very peaceful there.

Great location and layout, rooms decent. However, restaurant and service not up to standard. We need to hunt down a waiter to order and when going inside to pay both staff rushing and putting their phones away 🙄

The staff is super friendly and ready to assist. Perfect location for exploring the cango caves and surrounding activities. The place got breathtaking views. I absolutely loved the animals around the farm. The rooms are quite decent for the price. Will definitely come back. I just didn't enjoy the food from the restaurant, but self-catering is an option.

Great location, right at the bottom of a mountain with a river flowing through the property. There's a relaxed feel in the environment. The room was okay, neat and well kept with housekeeping services even though it's self-catering. Looks like a child friendly place as there's a play area. Love that there's a restaurant on-site too, so if you are not into cooking you can just get food from the restaurant.

What a wonderful place. Tents as room and so glam. I wonder if the term glamping originated here. Absolutely beautiful venue - helpful staff. Lots of wildlife. Lots to do but just a cool place to chill too. If I could add one point. WiFi can be better. You have nearly the right equipment , it just needs to be configured properly. A single SSID for guests across the venue would make it easier. a WiFi expert could help streamline/optimise it and I guess even as staff your lives would become a bit easier.
