Nomads Den Luxury Villas

I don't even know where to start. It was the most beautiful house I have ever stayed in. You can feel the attention to detail and generally the love and dedication that has been put into this house. I was immediately in love with it. I was so sad not to be able to stay longer. Add to that the insane wildlife around you. I had so many visitors - from little bucks, giraffes to even a leopard, which was just incredible. I didn't miss anything in this house. It was clean, well maintained and spacious. My next visit is already booked. I can hardly wait. A huge thank you to Veerle and Pim, who were always available for me.

Nomads Den is a fabulous site within the Hoedspruit wildlife estate close to the airport. The accommodation is modern and stylish with everything you could possibly need. For example, the facilities almost look brand new such as the cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is a pool, barbecue, fire pit and large areas for seating and dining. During our stay Pim and Veerle were excellent hosts who were very attentive to any queries we had. They also organised game drives and walking safaris in the adjacent Pridelands game reserve with a fabulous guide. The wildlife that we saw while at Nomads Den was amazing - we saw kudu, waterbuck, impala, nyala, steenbok, duiker, vervet monkeys, and banded mongoose directly from the house. Then by wandering or driving around the estate, we also saw giraffe, zebra, warthog, and wildebeest. We also saw an abundance of beautiful birdlife. Overall, we would highly recommend Nomads Den as a place to relax and see great wildlife.

Nomads Den really raises the bar on Hoedspruit properties. The standard set by the very personable hosts is second to none and the location in the reserve is exceptional. Comfort reigns throughout the home both indoors and out. Wildlife viewing right from the comfort of the lapa makes this place even more special. If you’re a bush enthusiast, yet want the comfort of being close to local amenities Nomads Den really is beyond measure. No doubt that we’ll be returning in the near future.

We stayed in the villa for 3 nights and enjoyed the beauty of the villa and its surroundings. The villa is modernly decorated, minimalistics, but with great attention to every details. Everything is in its place. Mornings are especially beautiful when you can see through the window of your room giraffes, zebras, antelopes walking through your yard, or evenings with a campfire and listening to the sounds od nature. The hosts are extremely kind and caring, available for anything you need. Our only regret is that we could bit stay longer. We definitely recommend it.

This home was perfect for us - impeccably equipped, beautifully decorated, exceptionally reliable wi-fi and electricity and superb hosts. It was very soothing to our souls to stay here, in a very lovey part of the HWE where we could hear the lions from Pridelands at night and loved the Hyena's. Everything felt very safe and secure while having an authentic open bush feel to it. Pim and Veerle could not do enough to help, and Donna was really excellent too. It has a washing machine which is very useful and a secure area for hanging up laundry, a dishwasher and every amenity needed to make a stay hassle free and intuitive. We especially love the deck area, having our braai's every night. The beds were sublimely comfortable with high-end bedding. Literally could not ask for anything else!

Wonderful stay at Nomadsden! Pim and Veerle were very responsive and very helpful when it came to giving me tips on where to go and what to do. You’ll sleep like a princess in the comfortable beds, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings during the day on the deck. Perfectly clean too!
