Nguni Lodge

Super charming, really nice employees, GREAT BREAKFASTS, the common spaces are really nice- look at the mongoose in the yard- so cute. The pool is everything you need- not real big but plenty big enough-- please note: if you are disabled or have issues getting up and down stairs the pool does not have a railing- so it is not easy to get in and out of (and thats for people without any challenges) This should not be a factor in weather to book or not- you will enjoy your stay in Victoria falls at the Nguni Lodge (said like the movie Goonies- it's Goonie lodge)

Very disappointing stay. If you are only going to stay one night this lodge is fine we were staying 6 nights so we upgraded to deluxe which was $300 and a waste of money the rooms do not even have a fridge. Our bedding was not changed during our stay. No coffee or tea replenished after the first day no creamer or milk in the rooms. The 24 hour bar was shut and in darkness by 8:30pm every night. There are loads of staff but we constantly had to ask for supplies at breakfast time even though they new we took breakfast every morning at 9am. The evening menu is limited and most days they only had a few of the items on there available. We were never asked if we were enjoying our stay until we were checking out at which point they said we should have complained earlier!! We did every morning at breakfast. The management arrived as we were leaving and she was abrupt and rude a partial refund on the exorbitant charge for deluxe should have been offered. As I say very disappointing stay.

My family and I stayed at the Nguni Lodge over the Christmas holiday period, and it was the best experience we have had on holiday. the service was exceptional the location is very great as it is close to everything. We booked all of out activities with the lodge which made it very easy to ensure we had bookings confirmed and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely be returning.

An absolutely amazing stay we had here on our four day stay in Victoria Falls. Very well maintained, and super friendly!

Of all the places we stayed at on our 2 week trip to South Africa, this was the best. Very clean, friendly people, and great service. Would recommend to everyone.

Myself and my partner throughly enjoyed our stay at Nguni Lodge and would definitely reccommend it to others. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, reception was on hand to help assist with any task presented to them and was always happy and smiley. Breakfast was freshly made and more personal than other hotels as you can select from a menu rather than a buffet, I really enjoyed this change and the breakfast was of a fantastic quality, I would recommend the eggs benedict or the blueberry pancakes. We were lucky to get one of the rooms right ontop of the pool and when we visited we was lucky to mainly have the pool to ourselves, the pool is on the smaller side but as we had it for our own this did not affect us, the pool guy regularly cleaned the pool which is also a bonus. The grounds of this lodge are raw and natural, it was by far one of our favourite hotels we stayed on whilst on our trip! Gated lodges so the security here is perfect, but in all honesty the area itself and surroundings feel safe as it is and they are very grateful for the tourism. Plenty to do locally, a quick taxi trip into town don't cost much and only takes 10 minutes, there is also a shop and restaurant within walking distance if you prefer to not head into town.

Lovely, friendly staff. We loved having breakfast on the terrace, the food was really good. Rooms were comfortable and quiet at night.

Located just outside Vic Falls, a 30 minute walk from the falls. Rooms were adequate but we could hear the people next door and the bathroom window was left open so bugs got in.
