About Mukolo Camp

Welcome to Mukolo Camp. This little piece of paradise is situated on the Zambezi Caprivi strip of Namibia. We are an affordable, small exclusive eco-friendly safari camp with a beautiful view of the floodplains of the Kwando River.

Come and enjoy the tranquillity of nature from the comfort of your own tent, or stay in one of our lovely, rustic self-catering chalets.

We have six self-catering chalets. Each one is equipped with the basic cutlery and crockery, refrigerator, two-plate gas stove and wash basin. Four of the chalets can sleep two. Then we have two family units which can sleep four. They have two single beds and one bunker bed.

There are six campsites underneath big shady trees. Each campsite has its own ablution facility, designated fireplace and electricity. Only three campsites are situated close to the water.

We do not have a restaurant with a menu, but do offer home-cooked buffet dinners and breakfast on prior arrangement only. We have a bar and a deck with seating overlooking the river. We also offer boat cruises and mokoro trips on request, and a swimming pool.

Beautyful, quiet campsites at the river. We could pitch our small tent on grass in the shade of big trees. 250 pp. Easy access for bicycles..12 km from Kongola..no pushing required.

The river view campsites are propably great. Ours was further inland in a kind of dry and dark forest and we didn’t feel comfortable although it was spacious. Ablutions are ok, but they don‘t have toilet paper (so bring your own!). The Dinner was good with very friendly staff. Nice view from the terrace for sunset.

Very nice small family run campsite next to the river with beautiful sunsets and good shade under the trees. Good ablution facilities, hot water and electricity at every campsite. And not too far from the NP entrance. Can be recommended.

The establishment is amazing. Hennie and Veronica do anything to make you feel as comfortable as possible, and everyone is lovely. The rooms are super clean and calm, right in front of the river. In the afternoon we did the 3 hrs boat trip with an extremely knowledgeable guide, and we had a blast! A suggestion: reserve the dinner and breakfast with them, the meals were both delicious! Thank you again for the great time!!
