Mount Sinai Resort

This was probably one of the worst accommodation experiences ever!! We have booked and paid for this accommodation well in advance. After a nine hour drive on the road, imagine our horror when we got there and was told they are fully booked out for the night. When we showed them confirmation and proof of payment, they gave us absolutely no explanation as to why our accommodation was no longer available and the owner then proceeded to provide us with their "presidential suite". We were also made very aware of the fact that we are now getting a room that is much more valuable than what we paid for. There was no extra bed for our son. We are a family of 3 with an eleven year old son. When we asked where he was supposed to sleep, we were told the bed could take 5 people. This is very poor management and there was not even an apology to us or maybe they thought that putting us in that blue velvet room was an apology enough!!! Will not recommend staying here. Location is beautiful, but you are not guaranteed a place to stay.
