Mopani Lodge Victoria Falls

I truly loved the place ❤️, the ambience, the friendly staff. I wouldn't mind staying at Mopani on my next visit and can recommend the place to my family and friends as well. Keep it up.

Great value! We stayed here the duration of our stay at Victoria falls. The place has a slightly nostalgic feel. It's very clean and well cared for. We stayed in the deluxe room. It had ac. Everything functioned well. * Note if having the latest interior design is worth a few extra hundred dollars, then by all means, spend your money elsewhere. If you want value and a personal touch, book here. We visited devil's pool, and did the Chobe day tour. Both of these were worth the money. These and our transfers were arranged by Mopani... Pretty much spur of the moment. Everything in this area is a standard price, so it really doesn't benefit you to hassle with this stuff on your own, although booking in advance is recommended. The distance of 95 percent of the hotels in Victoria falls is a bit far for walking. We used there guy to go places and called him or just grabbed another for our returns. Taxi guys hanging around most areas. There's no Uber here. Everything is in USD. We paid for the breakfast which is highly recommended! Just book already

Arrived here early (9.00) having come through from Botswana with Handy Taxi (great service) almost as soon as the border opened. Our room was available and they were happy to do a delicious breakfast for us which set us up for a great day out at the falls, ziplining, visiting the bridge into Zambia and dinner out. So we returned late to the lodge ready to collapse in our beds which were very comfortable. A really good family room with decent bathroom facilities. Felt a little dated but was clean and welcoming. Breakfast was again wonderful and filling to set us on our way again. Walked into town which took about half an hour.

Amazing place nice and neat rooms,close to city center

This is absolutely a great place to stay. The customer service is out of this world! There's a personal touch and attention to the details of your needs that you won't find in many places. We arrived at this place and the welcome from everyone was exceptional. Special mention to Tadiwa, as soon as he noticed that we had small children, he immediately organised a change of rooms so that we get a bathroom with a bathtub. The lodge has a nice swimming pool that has a splash pool on the side and relaxing poolside chairs...making it a family friendly place. The cleanliness at this place is exceptional. From the rooms, the outside, the dining room... everything is spotless. The breakfast is made with love, again, you can see that the attention to detail.. they consult you on your dietary requirements in advance. Mopani lodge has it's own shuttle and the fare is way cheaper than what locals charge you. Tadiwa doesn't just chauffeur you around, he has a vast knowledge of the area, of great places to visit that noone talks about, from hidden gems, general advice on making your stay comfortable, to referral affordable places to eat out and buy souvenirs. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mopani lodge. Thank you Mopani lodge family for your exceptional service!

The rooms are quite clean and spacious. There is the Victoria falls nearby where a plethora of activities are had. They provide an excellent valet service and the staff is very friendly, especially Tadiwa and Tafadzwa. The place is quite safe with 24 hour security. There is need to watch the kids by the pool though as it is usually unmanned. The place is not easily accessible on foot. Though there is signage directing one to the lodge, it is easy to get lost. Their breakfast selection is great. They however need to watch the expiry dates of their products. The first day I was given yogurt that was past its expiry date by a couple of days. In subsequent days I noticed the expiry date had been craftily erased and I suspect it was from the same expired batch. They do not serve lunch or dinner which is also a downside.

Their hospitality is one of a kind and will always makes their guest lodge will always be my preference
