About Makoppas Nest River Lodge
Makoppas Nest River Lodge is surrounded by privately owned game reserves, and features luxury chalets, a conference centre, fully licensed restaurant, and a cosy bar. The ranch hosts a lot of species of game, including giraffe, zebra, kudu, gemsbok, crocodile, and leopard. There are also wild African bird species such as the fish eagle, saddle-billed stork, kori bustard and crimson breasted shrike.
Makoppas Nest offers accommodation in fully equipped self-catering chalets on the bank of the river. Each chalet features a veranda from where you can enjoy the peaceful and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
