About Insika Lodge

Insika, pronounced In-see-ca, is an isi-Ndebele word meaning “Pillar of Strength”, and speaks of the wonder of Victoria Falls which shoots up a pillar of cloud that, at certain times of the year, can be seen from as far as 50 km away.

The lodge offers guests lovely 2-sleeper Signature and Luxury rooms that are furnished with king-size beds, that can convert to twins in some rooms, and modern bathrooms with freestanding baths, walk-in showers and bathroom amenities. The Luxury rooms have lovely garden views and the Signature rooms face the stream or waterhole. The air-conditioned rooms contain bar fridges, tea and coffee-making facilities, desk, Wi-Fi access and open onto a patio with comfortable outdoor furniture.

The main lodge area provides a variety of living spaces from which to appreciate the astounding natural beauty of the area. Expansive decks deepen connections with the landscape and our firepit and bar deli overlook the woodland to provide the perfect setting for delicious meals served by our expert chefs using locally grown and organic ingredients, and fireside storytelling. Guests can cool down in the swimming pool or visit the spa for a relaxing treatment.

Insika gives an authentic spa experience for the relaxation of mind, body, and soul. Treatments include massage, body wrap, facial, manicure, or pedicure, and are skillfully delivered by local therapists. Paired with the natural setting of the lodge’s gardens, the spa is a place of peace and rejuvenation.

Need some improvement This is a beautiful lodge with a swimming pool and garden. Lobby a bit small but enough. The location is excellent. Driving 15 minute to town and reach Victoria fall The Only complaint was the privacy in the room. Their shower is fully opened. No curtain or door. You can see from outside or when you are in bed the shower area are completely expose to you. However. On The second day. They were manage to provide us an extra room. So no embarrassment. Thanks for their management team.

Stayed here for five days with family and had a great time! The accommodations were fantastic and the staff are so nice. We really enjoyed all of the Bruno Mars that they play regularly. Chef Robby and Monyo were particularly hospitable!

Real gem of a hotel with attention to detail shown in every aspect ‐ from very modern rooms with beautiful local design, to wonderful food to outstanding staff care. TOP TIP - their Zambezi Sunset Cruise is not to be missed! Real home away from home, whilst being totally spoilt. Thanks to all your staff (too many names to post here...)

Absolutely amazing. Wonderful. Top 5 hotels of my life, no joke. Rooms perfect, location great just next to the river and with very regular private shuttles to the falls, and service... As an example, while you have dinner, they spot that you're out of your room and come to clean it, close the curtains and make your bed nice and soft, with sheets half open so you just have to brush your teeth and enter your bed. When you come back, you have a lovely surprise. Man, THIS is service. THIS is a proper hotel. On top, the food from the restaurant is very good, to the level of high standard European restaurants. Congratulations to the staff and the owner, I'm stunned by the quality!

We booked this hotel for five nights and we were excited to have booked something luxurious for our stay. The service from the staff was excellent. The amenities we used were, the dining (in room and in the dining area), the pool, the bar area and the concierge service. They were excellent in booking the Zambezi River Sunset Cruise for us (one not to miss) and were very accommodating when we had an early morning leaving for our Chobe Day trip, they packed us a great breakfast. The room was clean, modern and great to relax in. On occasion we would have visits from the local wart hogs, which was fun.

Stunning! Everything about this hotel is beautiful: the rooms, the grounds, the pool. The staff were very friendly and the welcome drink we got at check-in was great. The room is very spacious and the bathroom is gorgeous. We had dinner at the restaurant located in the hotel every night. It has a rotating menu for each night so there is always something new to try (I think there are about 4-5 different versions). Any night they have steak on the menu I would highly recommend it since it was amazing! Would also recommend the milkshakes!! Such a nice cool treat. If you're not a fan of what is on the dinner menu, there is also a bar menu you can order from that has a few more options (these don't rotate). Victoria Falls is located less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel, so it's a great location. I was even able to see some warthogs grazing on grass while I was relaxing in the pool! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Victoria Falls area.

A beautiful boutique hotel. Having spent 11 days on safari, we booked 3 days at Victoria Falls to just relax and unwide before a long trip home to Australia. We did just that! From the amazing service received, relaxing around the beautiful pool, indulging in a wonderful massage and the delicious meals, we had the most wonderful time. Will definitely be back!

This lodge exceeded my expectations! The staff, rooms, food and ambience are top tier. The ambience is chic and modern, with attention to detail evident in every corner. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. The staff is welcoming, well trained and the level of professionalism makes me very proud as a Zimbabwean. The kitchen staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Not forgetting the housekeeping staff too, they were very courteous and did their job to perfection. I do not regret booking my stay at Insika Lodge. I will definitely be back and I cannot wait for my next visit! I am also recommending Insika to anyone looking for a place to stay in Vic Falls!
