This is a lovely lodge set in the trees next to a lake that is an offshoot of the Zambezi, with a welcome swimming pool, and very neat clean and comfortable safari tents on solid bases with en-suite bathroom (shower). Very welcoming and helpful staff, and owners who went the extra mile to borrow a bigger boat from the next door lodge, so that our group of ten could go on a sunset cruise together, and visit the amazing Carmine Bee Eater breeding colony. The meals were excellent and very professionally served. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Caprivi Mutoya Lodge is an excellent place to rest if you find yourself anywhere near Katima. We stopped here in order to arrange our COVID tests and we are really glad we did. Beautiful self catering chalets, overlooking the water. There is free use of their canoes to explore the lagoon, which has a wealth of bird life. We had dinner on our second night, which was magical. On a deck overlooking the sunset, with stunning food which was great value for money. Loved this lodge

Great place to stay. We visited several other places along the strip prior to deciding on Mutoya. Very welcoming host, clean and simple accommodation, but providing everything you need to either self cater or not. Lovely setting on tributary of Zambezi. Swimming pool, restaurant and very good staff. Owner, Zane very helpful, enabling us to go tiger fishing on the Zambezi (good price, excellent guide - Fidel) the next morning with a late breakfast back at camp prior to departing. Highly recommend.

It is a very pleasant place, quite newly opened. We stayed in tents with outdoor shower which is amazing. The sounds of nature at night are giving you the feeling you are really in Africa :-) Monkeys come to the camp in the morning which is nice. There is a restaurant with terrace overlooking water where you can enjoy breakfast or other meal - this looked amazing but unfortunately we did not have time. In the channel there are some hippos and crocodiles and you can go on a canoe ride there which most be quite nice.

What a great stay near the Zambezi river. The owners and all the staff are super friendly and helpful. This lodge is one of the few budget friendly options in the area and it delivers top notch service. We didnt have a car but it didnt matter because they offer alot of activities. They also offer great dining options. We recommend this lodge!
