Brightwater Lodge

Great location, supermarket and restaurants nearby. Within a few minutes of walking you are at the beach and the harbour. We had the apartment which was clean, well equipped and with a big balcony. Very good spot for staying in Hout Bay.

Alex is a truly exceptional host. Literally everything about the entire place, stay is exceptional, everything. Couldn't recommend it more.

I had an absolute lovely stay at the lodge. The apartment in it's self is an Architectual dream. The perfect colors, the whites, the blues. It gave Rome with a bit of Mzansi flavor. Loved how neat and spacious everything was. A big shout out to Alex for providing us with an itenarary list and just helping us explore Hout Bay a bit. Take all his recommendations PLEASE. Definitely coming back for a longer stay in warmer weather so we can take advantage of the cool balcony mountain view 😍

Mr Alex and his family are so friendly,it really felt like my home away from home,i really enjoyed my stay and the excellent service they provide,the rooms are neat and very cozy,and i love that there is about forty restaurants nearby.

I had the best experience, i enjoyed staying in Brightwater Lodge, i will definitely choose it again, My room was very clean, water was always hot in this rainy season, their breakfast time start from 08:00 am but they had to start early to cater me since I had to leave before 08:00. I had no transport, Mr Alex he would stop what he was doing and transport me to the Harbour. And it was easy for me to Write my online Exams, the place is Quite and the wifi speed is very good

The place was great , the host and the staff are very welcoming and they gave me such a great service and made my stay very enjoyable, my room was very clean and cozy, the area was safe and getting to shops was easy for me .i loved it and giving it a 10/10. i’ll definetely book again.

Day 1 when I interacted with the host Alex making bookings,I picked up that he was genuinely concerned about his guests. Upon arrival at the lodge ,the reception was warm and delightful and treated like monarchy throughout the duration of the stay. Breakfast was divine served and prepared by the hands-on host Alex. Personnel was equally pleasant trustworthy and always willing to help The rooms were meticulously clean with snow white linen changed regularly. Perfect quality time spent at the lodge,offered service par excellence. You arrive at Brightwater Lodge as a guest and leave as a friend Eish before I forget I miss the creamy rich foam bath with the most beautiful perfume. Olivia.
