Lovely overnight cottages with everything you need in a self catering unit. Friendly service from owners. Lovely fireplace for cold evenings. Also has aircon and oilheater. Bed has electric blanket. You wont be left cold on a cold winter night. Love the large shower and bath. Wake in the morning with a farm feeling as you open the door to be greeted by boerbokke and ostrich. African Olive Country Estate is highly recommended.

I love this guesthouse. The quiet of the farm but close to the picturesque village of Parys. Deon is a great host and keeps a superb guesthouse.

Lovely place to stay. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great views of the surrounding countryside. The unit we stayed in is very basic (in a good sense) and have a "homey", warm and inviting feel to it. The unit was also very clean and tidy. There was ample cutlery and crockery, all in good condition. The one couch was a bit uncomfortable though, but all in all we really enjoyed the stay. Deon was very accommodating with our requests (thanks again of you are reading this Deon) and we will definitely use this venue again.

A place for your soul to find rest. The peace and tranquility is amazing. Fresh air and farm animals, but the luxury of a cottage with everything you need. The place was neat and tidy. I got more than I expected. The host is very friendly. I just loved my time here!

Home away from Home. The accommodation is very neat and comfortable. The family unit sleeps 4 people. African Olive Estate's units are very well equipped for self catering units. Units are well maintained and very clean. We found staying here is extremely well priced. We really enjoy staying at this lodge. It's been our 3rd visit here and definitely won't be our last.
