The location is very close to the main hikes in the area, bermizi numnum and Wathaba, also it’s a short distance from Milllies restaurant.. the linen and towels provided where very clean, they gave us fire wood and fire starters, I was pleasantly surprised to find organic eggs and vegetables that where given to us free of charge, service was excellent.. the are is safe and house is spacious, staying there have you this feeling of travelling back in time, very charming. There was a braai stand all the cooking utensils and cutlery, no need to prep.Our price of our stay included a free hike.. this place was amazing value for money

Lovely, comfy and cozy cottages in Machadodorp. Trina was a wonderful host and made sure we had all we needed. I loved the serene setting.

What a wonderful, wonderful find. From the time we arrived we were enthusiastically greeted by Winnie and her beautiful smile. Our accommodation was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace a real treat for us city-slickers and very welcome as it was cold on arrival. We requested a packed breakfast for the Saturday morning, (as we were leaving very early to run the Elands Marathon), and once again Winnie outdone herself and put together a much appreciated feast. Coming back to our 'Cats Whiskers' room after a gruelling marathon, we were once again greeted with smiles and excitement and offers of anything we may require. Breakfast on Sunday was once again a feast outside in the lovely gardens and fresh air. I highly recommend Absolute Leaisure Cottages for anyone wanting a "home away from home" experience! We'll definitely be back again next year and look forward to be pampered again by Winnie!

The place was very perfect for me even though it was too spacious since I was travelling alone, but i really enjoyed myself. The service provided by staff members was great. I would recommend this place to many people visiting Machadodorp.

Great place to stay for the Elands marathon! The room was perfectly clean , comfy bed and just 3km to Lilly’s for registration and dinner! The manager in charge was so friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here next year ⭐️

My son and I had a great stay at Absolute Leisure Cottages this weekend. Our room was spotlessly clean and equipped with all the necessary for our self-catering weekend. The beds were comfortable and my son was delighted with his bunk bed. Phumulani Nhlapo, the manager, was always immediately available when we had requests (such as opening the gate for an very early departure.). Definitely the best option for accommodation in Machadodorp.

Trina and the team was wonderful. We were accommodated for a business trip in the area. The units were neat and clean, and the staff very accommodating and friendly. The wooden floors are a bit noisy. I do suggest more carpets to make the impact less so you don't hear your neighbours in the middle of the night. It is also a shame that the local government has neglected the town (not a reflection on the accommodation, but unfortunately it does bring down tourism potential in the area).
