The Rebublic of Zimbabwe is a 390757 km² landlocked country in the south of Africa and is known for its impressive landscape and the diverse fauna in the numerous parks and reserves. The seat of government is in Harare and the system of government is a unitary dominant-party presidential constitutional republic. In Zimbabwe live 14.9 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Black African".
The official national currency is the "United States dollar" (ZWL). The most commonly spoken languages (official languages) are Chewa, Chibarwe, English and Kalanga. The vast majority of the population professes Christianity.
Zimbabwe is home to numerous well-known national parks, game reserves and nature reserves such as the Chizarira, Gonarezhou or the Hwange. Zimbabwe is world famous for the Victoria Falls, which thunder 108 metres down the Zambezi River.
