The Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) is a 17364 km² inland state in southern Africa, bordered by Mozambique to about one third and South Africa to about two thirds. The seat of government is in Mbabane, the system of government is a unitary parliamentary absolute monarchy. In Swaziland live 1.2 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Swazi".
The official national currency is the "South African rand" (ZAR). The two spoken languages (official languages) are siSwati and English. The vast majority of the population professes the Christianity.
Swaziland is home to numerous well-known national parks, game reserves and nature reserves such as the Hlane Royal, Malolotja or the Mbuluzi. Swaziland is known for its great wildlife reserves and traditional Swazi cultural festivals.
