The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a 923768 km² West African country on the Gulf of Guinea, which has numerous natural attractions and wildlife reserves. The seat of government is in Abuja and the system of government is a federal presidential constitutional republic. In Nigeria live 206.1 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Hausa-Fulani".
The official national currency is the "Nigerian naira" (NGN). The most commonly spoken languages (official languages) are English, Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo. The vast majority of the population professes Islam.
Nigeria is home to several national parks, game reserves and nature reserves such as the Okomu Forest Reserve, Jos Wildlife Park or the Yankari.
