The Rebublic of Namibia is a 824292 km² state in south-western Africa on the Atlantic coast. The seat of government is in Windhoek, the system of government is a unitary dominant-party semi-presidential republic. In Namibia live 2.5 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Ovambo".
The official national currency is the "Namibian dollar" (NAD). The most commonly spoken languages (official languages) are English, Afrikaans, German and Otjiihero. The vast majority of the population professes Christianity.
Namibia is home to numerous world-renowned national parks, game reserves and nature reserves such as the Bwabwata (Zambezi Region), Damaraland or the Etosha. Namibia has an extremely diverse wildlife with an enormous population of cheetahs.
