The Rebublic of Angola is a 1246700 km² state in south-west Africa with a diverse landscape and three climate zones. The seat of government is in Luanda, the system of government is a unitary dominant-party presidential constitutional republic. In Angola live 32.9 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Ovimbundu".
The official national currency is the "Angolan kwanza" (AOA). The most commonly spoken languages (official languages) are Portuguese, Chokwe, Kikongo and Kimbundu. The vast majority of the population professes Christianity.
Angola is home to several national parks, game reserves and nature reserves such as the Quiçama, Iona or the . The fauna of Angola is rich in wildlife, while the vegetation ranges from tropical rainforest in the north to tree savannahs in the centre and dry grass savannah in the south due to the climate.
