The Orpen Kruger

Me & my family visited, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The resort itself is beautifully designed , and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the ideal getaway.

I was overwhelmed at the hospitality Veronica welcomed me with, starting with a search & rescue mission she spearheaded to retrieve me when I made a wrong turn en route to the hotel. Upon arriving, I had a refreshing cocktail pressed into my hand by her lovely staff who make you feel like royalty with their service and friends in their company. An oasis in the middle of the wilderness, this is where you can restore in comfort after sweaty safaris in the bush.

Great place matching standard of any 5-star wildlife resort. The service is one of the best and rooms are very well maintained. Its proximity to game reserves is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and they haven’t turned down a single request from our entire group of 22 in 3 days. Overall it was a great experience.

Exceptional stay. Joe and his team were simply amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like old friends. We visited last year and thought it was good but this time it was exceptional. On a par with any 5 star hotel we have stayed in over the years. Rooms spacious, clean and with lovely crisp bed linen. Service, food, ambience, location and overall appearance were just superb. You can’t do better than this. Can’t think of one thing we didn’t like or would suggest changing. A must stay 2 minutes from Orpen Gate.

This was the best hotel during our kruger safari. We had two other places, but here the service and friendliness was outstanding!! Thank you so much for a great experience.

Highly recommend! Staff were friendly and attentive, food was delicious, and it was very relaxing. Location is a stones throw from the gate which made game drives and a bush walk easily accessible. I hope to be back some day!

We've had a great stay. Had a warm welcome, never had this good of a service. We would recommend staying here. Great location next to the gate of Kruger park.

This is a relatively new lodge close to Orpen & Manyeleti gates Kruger National Park. From the time you arrive you are being spoiled with great food, stunning decor & superb service. Thumbs 👍🏻 up to the great lodge
