The Old House

Pros: River cruises were very very good! Had some amazing animal sightings, and our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Access from a private jetty was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable for the most part. Cons: Service was very lacking, several times not delivering on requests we had made. Smoking allowed all through the premises made it quite uncomfortable at times. Very unreliable wifi (basically non-existent). Food average to bad, and the service was very slow. Very noisy at night from the street.

We had lunch. The salads were great. Burger not so. Maybe an off day. On the whole, a nice place and recommended.

Fabulous location and setting by side of the river. If you take the option ( recommend) to game drive/ game cruise early am l& late afternoon is marvellous way to inmerse in the wildlife. Love food and staff so helpful.

Relaxed, chilled, lovely place to stay. Everyone is friendly, the food is good - breakfast is included; the rooms are clean & spacious with air conditioning. There is a nice bar/restaurant area with a pool & sun loungers for guests. Game drives & river cruises can be booked through reception and are good value. An added bonus is being able to walk through the garden area to the beautiful Chobe river (wild animals can roam in this space, so extra care is needed). We often sit on the boat and watch the sun go down over the river. Really enjoyed our stay here xx

We stayed here in 2015. A lovely place with good pricing. You can walk on to the river front, arrange a tivities or just relax. Will definitely be back here some day!

Cannot comment on the rooms, only took usage of the resturant. Would wish for more options on the menu, but the food provided is fresh and nicely presented. Can only recommend.

Decent bar are at the back that's great for a bite to eat, Place is well maintained, clean and neat. Bonus is been able to walk down to the river. Service was friendly and efficient and drinks cold to help beat the warm weather. Food was decent and with plentiful choices

Perfect place for a meal. They have the best pizza!
