We absolutely loved our stay! This place is truly a hidden gem for anyone traveling to Cape Town. Our unit was spotless, smelled amazing, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We left feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. We’ll definitely make it a point to stop here again in the future!

Absolutely amazing.. real gem.. love the sounds of sheep around you. Stunning views and house beautifully old world charm decor. Splash pool gave welcome cool down . Staff very friendly and a freshly made loaf of bread was a real surprise that made us feel special

Wow!!!! I don't think I have another word to express my experience at Steynskraal. The staff were wonderful. Friendly and so helpful. The accommodation was out of this world. They have thought of everything. There is nothing they don't have in the self-catering units. The deco is old school farm house. I absolutely loved it. I had the best sleep for the 2 nights I was there. The farm itself has many walking trails to keep you busy. You can also have a braai at the river under the trees while the kids swim. There is a 4x4 bakkie available if you want to take a drive through the property. The birding is so special. I was able to add a number of birds to my list and get some stunning photos of them too All in all a wonderful all-round experience for me. I will definitely be back

Best way to describe this hidden gem is "antique chic". Wonderful place, absolute gorgeous decor and so hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay an would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice, very BEAUTIFULL farm house, Modern and Farmish, cool down pond works great and can be heated up. Farm animals on door step, to give food etc. Beauty of a pony to do horse riding Can walk on farm, go play in river etc... Wow, just a wow place

Fantastic overnight stay. The dirt road from the N1 to the farm is in good condition. Great home made bread as a welcoming snack. Well equipped kitchen.

We stayed at Steynskraal on both ways to and from Cpt, and we can highly recommend it! Nadja and her team are super-efficient, and the farms treats are delicious!

What an outstanding stop over in the Great Karoo... only about 3km from the busy N1 highway but far enough not to hear any road noise! Friendly and caring hosts. Wonderfully and tastefully furnished farmstay... highly recommended!
