Nkorho Bush Lodge

Nkorho Bush Lodge is my #1 choice for safaris in South Africa. The staff was warm and inviting and made you feel like family from the moment you were on the property until your last day. They really know how to get you to want to come back! The amenities were plentiful even out in the bush of the Sabi Sands reserve. The wi-fi was consistent and high-speed even for video calls back home. The rooms were spacious and always kept clean. They clean them during the morning safari and the evening one as well. Our room (Chalet #4) had indoor and outdoor showers. They also have complimentary cherry in the room as well. The workout room is decent enough for what you need. Lots of dumbells, a bench, a rowing, machine, and a static bike. There is a training machine for many different exercises. The service staff were all so helpful and kind. The guides and trackers were so knowledgeable and you can tell they love their jobs and are passionate about spreading that to others. We had Pieter and Chris as our guide and tracker for our trip this year. Rowan was also super cool and always quick to get us what we needed or answer any questions we had. Kayla welcomed us first and was so great to help us get anything we needed. And I feel terrible but I totally forgot the husband and wife's name that were also amazingly gracious and quick to get us any drink/food we desired! I definitely plan on returning again!

We had a wonderful stay at this very unique lodge. Wonderful and friendly staff led by Anya. Game Drives were very special.They went over and above to assist us with our kosher requirements. Thank you!

What a great safari lodge! The view from the deck was great. You can see the watering hole and animals come and go from it all day long. The game drives were wonderful as well. We saw the big 5 within 24 hrs! We also saw giraffes, hippos, cheetah, wild dogs and many more. The rangers were very knowledgeable. Pieter has great enthusiasm for helping guests spot all sorts of animals. The food is top notch, so delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious. All lodge staff were so friendly and attentive to your needs. Nkorho did a fabulous job on our safari adventures. We were fully satisfied with every aspect of this bush lodge.

Thoroughly enjoyed a three night stay here as part of a honeymoon safari trip. Game drives were guided expertly by Ruan, and our spotter/tracker Freeman was also fantastic. The lodge itself was incredibly relaxing, with great views from the dining area and very comfortable rooms. The food was delicious and there was great variety across breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Service marked down 1 star only because we found it was a little bit mixed. Some of the staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, while others seemed to lack a bit of enthusiasm, warmth, and authenticity in our interactions with them. An incredible and memorable stay overall though!

Spectacular, amazing, magical, in every aspect. Beautiful property, rooms and common areas, well appointed and precisely maintained. Extremely friendly and collegial staff, wecoming and caring. Game rides were completely over the top and greatly exceeded any and all expectations. We saw everything as pointed out by our great tracker David and explained in meticulous detail by our guide Matt. They prepared excellent meals which met my unfortunately rediculous allergen requirements.

Nkorho is very big, and if you're a young couple, it's a perfect ? place to start exploring lodge life experience. The rooms are very good and beautiful inside, I'm just allergic to the roofing smell but overall man, it's a good place to spend less and they have some of the best game drives

This is a very premium resort with great staff. The resort is located inside Sabi Sands Game reserve. It has exclusivity, huge places to walk around, Impalas come and sit around and it has many open places and lounge zones Staff is amazing and always ready to help. especially the Rangers are outstanding. Naming few staff ( but all were very very good) Matt Deon Layala the 2 ladies serving food Owners themselves are involved and always ready to help. Its difficult to separate the owners from employees, as the dedication and excitement shown by employees is as good The vehicles for game park visit are well maintained. There are 2 trips daily and the rangers do their best to show you whatever is possible Rooms are big. Very Spaciaous SUGGESTIONS for improvements 1. food is very average for the kind of cost we pay 2. Lights in the room are flash lights which are not good at all. They should be subtle lighting and warm glow. If you switch on all the lights, the room looks over bright and the lights hit your eyes too.
