Nkorho Bush Lodge

We stayed at Nkorho Bush Lodge last May, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible service, stunning location, and the warm hospitality of the entire team. Everything exceeded our expectations in every way. One of the highlights of our stay was getting engaged during our visit! The team went above and beyond to help make the proposal a magical and seamless experience. We want to give special thanks to our ranger, Ruan, and our tracker, Freeman, whose expertise, warmth, and attention to detail made our safari adventures and the proposal truly extraordinary. The food was phenomenal—every meal was a culinary delight—and the overall attention to detail was simply remarkable. Whether it was the breathtaking game drives, the luxurious accommodations, or the genuine care from the staff, everything contributed to making this trip one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Thank you for creating such a special and unforgettable memory for us. We can't wait to come back someday and relive the magic!

Nkorho Bush Lodge is my #1 choice for safaris in South Africa. The staff was warm and inviting and made you feel like family from the moment you were on the property until your last day. They really know how to get you to want to come back! The amenities were plentiful even out in the bush of the Sabi Sands reserve. The wi-fi was consistent and high-speed even for video calls back home. The rooms were spacious and always kept clean. They clean them during the morning safari and the evening one as well. Our room (Chalet #4) had indoor and outdoor showers. They also have complimentary cherry in the room as well. The workout room is decent enough for what you need. Lots of dumbells, a bench, a rowing, machine, and a static bike. There is a training machine for many different exercises. The service staff were all so helpful and kind. The guides and trackers were so knowledgeable and you can tell they love their jobs and are passionate about spreading that to others. We had Pieter and Chris as our guide and tracker for our trip this year. Rowan was also super cool and always quick to get us what we needed or answer any questions we had. Kayla welcomed us first and was so great to help us get anything we needed. And I feel terrible but I totally forgot the husband and wife's name that were also amazingly gracious and quick to get us any drink/food we desired! I definitely plan on returning again!

We had a wonderful stay at this very unique lodge. Wonderful and friendly staff led by Anya. Game Drives were very special.They went over and above to assist us with our kosher requirements. Thank you!

What a great safari lodge! The view from the deck was great. You can see the watering hole and animals come and go from it all day long. The game drives were wonderful as well. We saw the big 5 within 24 hrs! We also saw giraffes, hippos, cheetah, wild dogs and many more. The rangers were very knowledgeable. Pieter has great enthusiasm for helping guests spot all sorts of animals. The food is top notch, so delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious. All lodge staff were so friendly and attentive to your needs. Nkorho did a fabulous job on our safari adventures. We were fully satisfied with every aspect of this bush lodge.

Thoroughly enjoyed a three night stay here as part of a honeymoon safari trip. Game drives were guided expertly by Ruan, and our spotter/tracker Freeman was also fantastic. The lodge itself was incredibly relaxing, with great views from the dining area and very comfortable rooms. The food was delicious and there was great variety across breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Service marked down 1 star only because we found it was a little bit mixed. Some of the staff were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, while others seemed to lack a bit of enthusiasm, warmth, and authenticity in our interactions with them. An incredible and memorable stay overall though!

Spectacular, amazing, magical, in every aspect. Beautiful property, rooms and common areas, well appointed and precisely maintained. Extremely friendly and collegial staff, wecoming and caring. Game rides were completely over the top and greatly exceeded any and all expectations. We saw everything as pointed out by our great tracker David and explained in meticulous detail by our guide Matt. They prepared excellent meals which met my unfortunately rediculous allergen requirements.

Nkorho is very big, and if you're a young couple, it's a perfect ? place to start exploring lodge life experience. The rooms are very good and beautiful inside, I'm just allergic to the roofing smell but overall man, it's a good place to spend less and they have some of the best game drives

I recently had disappointing experience of staying at this luxury safari lodge in South Africa, and I must say that my experience fell far short of the high praise it received from other guests. In comparison to other lodges in South Africa and the surrounding region, this place left much to be desired. First and foremost, the lodge exudes a fake sense of luxury that borders on pretentiousness. The overall ambiance and atmosphere felt forced and unjustified. Moreover, the food served at the lodge was nothing short of a disappointment. Comparable to airplane food in terms of quality, it failed to live up to the expectations one would have for a luxury lodge. Regrettably, the level of privacy provided by the lodges varied greatly. The specific lodge I was checked into faced a common area, affording me little to no privacy during my stay. Basic privacy is certainly an expectation one would have, especially when staying at a luxury establishment. The game rides offered by the lodge were another letdown. Instead of an authentic and immersive experience, it felt like we were simply being shuttled from one spot to another based on information received through the driver's radio. There was no effort made towards animal tracking or creating a more organic experience. Instead, we found ourselves queuing with other cars to catch a glimpse of the same wildlife. To make matters worse, our driver frequently exceeded the speed limit and exhibited behavior that could be considered animal harassment, such as loudly opening and shutting the doors to attract the animals' attention. Despite these shortcomings, I feel compelled to acknowledge the efforts of the hotel manager who genuinely tried to address the main issues I encountered during my stay. Their attentiveness and dedication were notable, and I appreciated their efforts.
