Linvale Country Lodge

Extremely clean hotel with fantastic food cooked by the hotel manager which was presented beautifully. Exceptional service throughout the stay with guidance on travel routes, south African food and culture. We went on safari in Kruger which the hotel was very accommodating to. The managers were getting up in the early hours to pack a great breakfast for us and seeing us in and out of the hotel grounds. Had an amazing stay which will be difficult to forget

Lyndie was an incredible host who helped us with honestly everything - she was incredibly kind and this was the cherry on top of a beautiful lodge with immaculate rooms set in gorgeous grounds. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating and even packed a warm breakfast with snacks the morning of our kruger trip - taking into consideration the time we wished to leave.

What a great place! Nestled back a long lane on a macadamia farm, this lodge was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, safe and very well-kept. The managers Charles and Mené treated us like gold. We literally felt like family. It was incredible. Their hospitality, attention to detail and overall warmth was appreciated so much. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and we enjoyed our conversation with them. It didn’t matter how early in the morning we got up and left, they were always there to send us off. This was a 5-star experience and we feel so fortunate to have stayed here. Thank you so much!

We stayed here for one night as a couple and had an amazing time. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The setting was great - the grounds are impressive with a great variety of plants and lots of different birds/animals who come to visit! The true stand-out was the welcome from Charles & Mené (the managers). They cooked us an amazing braai and were very knowledgeable and friendly, sharing lots of tips for our upcoming trip to Kruger. They helped make our stay very easy-going and relaxing. We definitely recommend staying at Linvale Lodge!

Great place to stay. Amazing food, beautiful garden and very comfortable rooms. And most importantly, the staff are very helpful and super friendly. They offered advice and recommendations for our trip.

Hosts Gideon and Tammy, have made Linvale Country Lodge a superb establishment - from arrival to departure. Large, beautiful tranquil gardens, spacious rooms and delicious meals. They really do go the extra mile in every way. Highly recommended. Arrive as guests - leave as friends.

Tammy and Gideon are amazing hosts. Very friendly, helpful and really went out of their way to make us feel at home and welcome. We will most definitely be back and can most definitely recommend this awesome getaway destination
