Lekwena Ranch

This place is really well maintained, beautiful and big enough for long hikes in the koppies and horse trails in the rolling hills of the Waterberge. In fact I am packed and ready to go again this weekend. I highly recommend this place for camp-lovers.

Camping and bush experience of note. Urban Cowboy hosting. Beautiful and efficient bathrooms and local dining area. Beautiful horses, knowledgeable horse trainer with great riding experiences.

Lekwena Ranch is a little piece of Heaven. Completely away from the hustle and bustle of city life with the most spectacular scenery. We love the bush life of Lekwena. The camping stands are incredibly well spaced and when you are there you feel like you are on your own. The hosts Deon and Sarelize are so welcoming and will do anything for you. This is our favourite camping place in South Africa. We can leave our children to roam freely the whole day and they always come back to the campsite with happy hearts.

Very well maintained campsite with very clean ablution facilities/ awesome showers and tranquil bushveld atmosphere……. The hiking trails into the surrounding koppies is also quite splendid!! Can definitely recommend…….

Thank you for the best, most peacefull weekend! Beautiful surroundings, really good facilities, and my two loved the horse riding and feeding the little lambs every morning! Will definately be back!
