Kosi Bay Lodge

On photos the place looks exceptional but in actual fact the place needs so up grades power points is to far from the camps camps is very uneven no braais no rubbish bins area doesn't get cleaned you need to camp with previous campers rubbish laying on a pyel i cleaned my area self and also when you go to the main lodge where you get you pirmits it was advertised that there is a restaurant but when we ask the they said that the do not sell food only sometimes preper food for large groups and there is still a long list of stuff that i can tel you about the place. but one positive thing is the bush is beautiful just remember to be good prepared for this place make sure you bring you own showers cubicle that you can pitch net to you tent because in a camp site of 15 stands there is 3 ablution block with only one shower and toilet so that meens if every stand has a family of 4 on it means 20 people use one toilet and one shower so you are going to wait you turn

Drinks were great and food was good BUT the food came at different times. They missed one of the orders and we had to wait over 30 minutes for the last person to get their food. No rush, you wait to place your 1st drinks order so we thought we were being clever by ordering drinks and meals at the same time. Didn't help at all. Service not good at all.

You need a 4x4 to get to the lodge. There's no Wi-Fi Accommodation was adequate Food was good, but took forever to arrive

I have been here many times, and still remains my favorite location in Zululand. Amazing staff and comfortable atmosphere, in a coastal forrest setting , with great food....who could ask for more!
