What a spectacular place to celebrate a special birthday. Black Eagle tented camp was so comfortable and beautiful, spacious and tranquil. I loved my two nights communing within the gorge and swimming in the plunge pool.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, neat, and well-kept everything was. The accommodation was spacious and offered incredible value for money. But what truly sets this place apart are the breathtaking views—simply impeccable! The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. If you’re a nature lover, this is the place for you. Whether you enjoy peaceful walks or more adventurous long hikes, Kleinrivier has it all. And for braai enthusiasts, this is pure heaven—you’ll want to braai the entire weekend! We had a magical time, and Kleinrivier has truly become a little piece of paradise for us. We can’t wait to return again and again.

Amazing hike, breathtaking, stunning

Stayed at the black Eagle Tented Camp - the hosts were absolutely amazing and the location is incredible. You have access to some of the best swimming holes in South Africa and some of the best hiking / running trails I have ever been on. It is an incredible place run by amazing people. Highly recommend.

What an amazing experience. Peace and quiet for a perfect getaway from the busyness of life. Rooms with magnificent views, great hiking trails for a wonderful, adventurous experience. A must to visit

Absolutely stunning location, easily accessible! The best place to disconnect from the madness and reinstall a little sanity! Accommodation is wonderfully comfortable, showers are nice and hot, views are breathtaking. We will be back to explore the other accommodations available.
