Kingfisher Creek Lodge

We had a fantastic stay at KingfisherCreek. The place is beautifully set up with amazing rooms with very comfy beds and outdoor showers. You can sit on your balcony watching monkeys, impalas, birds, kudus getting on with their day peacefully. The real star of the show is Annie, who welcomes all guests with open arms and makes you feel at home straight away. She is a fountain of knowledge and will help with any advice and activities bookings. We loved interacting with the other guests, had chats in front of the fire and will treasure those memories forever.

The Kingfisher Creek Safari Lodge is truly a hidden gem in the Greater Kruger area. Our lodge was modern, spacious, extremely clean and super comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor shower where you could hear the voices of nature while getting ready for the day. The team really treated us amazingly well. Annie, John, Petunia, Nikiwe, Abraham and the other team members went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the stay. Petunia, who was our attentive hostess and diligent housekeeper made sure we had a very comfortable time. Every evening Nikiwe cooked a delicious 3-course meal that felt like a little feast we looked forward to every day. Long story short, we had the best time and enjoyed all the meals, safaris and everything around it. We would really recommend Kingfisher Creek Safari Lodge to everyone who is looking for a fantastic lodge as the hub to explore the Kruger area.

If you are looking for a totally catered family experience, then this is where you need to go. Annie and her family will welcome you to this amazing game reserve and treat you like royalty from first contact. We worried about nothing and for my family that is something else. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. I definitely enjoyed the outdoor showers at each cabin (they have the inside too). Nothing like seeing the countless stars each night. Annie took care of everything. We just had to show up when and where she told us. If you can ask for Frank on the Kruger drives, and Runya (sp?) did an amazing job on the walking drive and evening one there on the reserve. We traveled with my brother and his family. They are vegan and we are not. Because of the talents of Chef Walter and his crew, we never went to bed hungry and we always walked away feeling as if we had just eaten a meal fixed specifically for us. Even my daughter that only eats nuggets and spaghetti was pleased. When you book your stay with this lodge (and you need to). Make sure you tell Annie exactly what you are looking to do. During our stay we saw zebras, giraffe, warthogs, and a leopard was caught on the camera by one of our cabins. So bring your sense of adventure and book this place. Again, this place was AMAZING!

We had such a great holiday! The venue is amazing!! Annie is really great host & the rest of the team were amazing. Lodge is very comfortable & clean. Food is very tasteful. We had a group of giraffes & zebra passing through while we had our breakfast. Close to Kruger park. Place to stay while visiting the area ;))

Our family had the most amazing stay, we all wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodation was incredible, the food was delicious and the staff are amazing. We hope to see you again someday Annie!

Everything at Kingfisher Creek is fabulous - especially Annie ! Annie gives attention to the finest detail and the result is stunning. The rooms, the meals, the surroundings as well as activities for the guests. All is perfect and in excellent style. This was our first time and we are sure to come back sooner than expected ! Had a great experience which looked very exclusive as there were very few guests because this facility consists of a very few rooms compared to other hotels. Annie, the owner/manager takes great care of the guests with full dedication and attention. The open air shower was quite unique and the food was great. Possibility to have activities organised as well, though better to try early, even before arrival, especially in peak period. The swimming pool is for children mainly
