Karoo View Cottages

We were on a motorcycle tour through the Western Cape and die Karoo View Cottages had been recommended to us by our bike rental company. We were not disappointed! We already guessed from the homepage that the cozy looking rooms are exceptionally large; but Howard and his team not only spoiled us with culinary delights in a great atmosphere (the grilled mushrooms were a treat!), but as an experienced motorcyclist he also gave us great tips for the tours over the Swartberg Pass and to the Cango Caves. Karoo Views is a gem – we are glad we found this great guesthouse "off the beaten track".

The proprietor waited about 3 hours, kept me dinner and remained on site for me to, arrive. He had no guarantee I would ever arrive. 5 star accommodation. WiFi, air-conditioner, big screen smart TV. Insect~nets. Bath, shower, full kitchen +++++ +++++

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Karoo View Cottage, and I must say, it exceeded our expectations in every way! The accommodation is truly stunning, with meticulous attention to detail that makes all the difference. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this beautifully appointed cottage. The views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking, and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. We were impressed by the thoughtful touches and amenities that made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for a special place to get away from it all, Karoo View Cottage is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to return!

Had a group of 13 American's/10 Motorcycle Tour of the Klein Karoo and Garden Route end of March 2024. The highlight of the trip without a doubt was our 2-night stay at Karoo View Cottages. Howard is the consummate host & went out of his way taking care of our big group, offering the best experience out there. Look forward to returning again.

It was a great experience to stay at the cottage. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. The cottage is very well equipped and maintained. There is energy always, as they operate with solar power.

Great accommodation, with everything you need, in a wonderful setting in the Karoo. Only a short walk from the Prince Albert high street which was very handy for strolling over for dinner. We booked very last minute and the host, Howard, was friendly and accommodating, would highly recommend.
