Imagine Africa Luxury Tented Camp

We had a fantastic stay at Imagine Africa, for the 3rd time and certainly not the last. The tents are beautifully furnished, clean and have an amazing view. The food was delicious as always, the staff very attentive and super nice. The game drives were exciting and full of great sightings - we saw leopards, lions, lots of elephants, hippos, wild dogs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and many other animals. Back home, we already miss the beautiful nature and lovely people of South Africa and are already planning our next stay at Imagine Africa 😍. Thank you very much and hope to see you all again soon! We had a wonderful time at Imagine Africa for 4 nights in August. The staff are all lovely and extremely accommodating. Every meal we had was exceptional, the game drives were always lively and exciting. We saw all the big 5 and tons more, leopard, hyena, many elephants, many giraffe, zebra, lots of lions, wild dogs, more different things than we can fit in the review. We celebrated our honeymoon here and the staff left us a nice present to help use celebrate as well. We couldn’t be happier with our stay, and can’t wait to come back. Every little thing is accounted for and it honestly felt like being at home, you don’t have to worry about a thing once you pull up to the camp. Don’t worry about continuing to research camps in South Africa. I can’t ’imagine’ it being any nicer elsewhere.

I don't have the words to describe our 3 night / 6 game drive experience. I read all the reviews, and to be honest, they don't capture the true essence of Imagine Africa. The guides/trackers/hosts/cooks/staff were all skilled, friendly, and great at their jobs. We loved the "tents" where we stayed (aircon/USB plugs/great mattresses), we loved the food (near Michelin quality), we loved the game drives (we saw every singe animal from up close). Thanks to everyone for a dream holiday.

What an unforgettable experience on every level. The Staff were absolutely the best, food was gourmet and the rooms were so comfortable....everything is done at such high standards. One of the very best experiences we have had in a private lodge. So very well done to everyone. Would recommend Imagine Africa as an exceptional destination for anyone seeking an authentic and beautiful bush experience in Africa.

its a nice lodge, but i would say its highly overpriced for what you get. they even charge you for water, while its included in every other lodge and these lodges are even much cheaper. also coffee and all that i usually included in the price. the game drives they do are okay and kind of nice, besides you will have to ask for a picture stop and for not stopping in front of a branch. the serving alcohol on game drives thing is still a problem likee in every other lodge, because people get drunk and yell around. also you will have to sit with these people on a big table. there was a very loud kind of harassing french group which destroyed a game drive and the peace in the lodge. if you just want to yell around, go to a club. how about that?

Overall went beyond expectations. The site was a perfect example of glamping luxury. The tents are huge, great views, wonderful food and facilities, and as other people said saw many animals (including elephants) at the water hole in front of property. Saw loads of animals and action. The staff went above and beyond, I was incredibly impressed by everyone. Considering the seamless experience, I also think it was great value (4 nights for 3). Thanks you, Imagine, for a wonderful trip.

The Imagine Africa Tented Camp is a fabulous place. The tents are ultra-luxurious, super comfortable. The food is excellent. The game viewing is amazing.....we were closer to animals on the safari drives here than we’ve ever been and we’ve done many in Africa previously. Most of all the staff were fantastic. They couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a comfortable and most enjoyable stay and we had the best game viewing opportunities. We were so pleased we are bringing our whole family back later this year, all 9 of us. We would recommend a stay at Imagine Africa to anyone, any time!

Imagine Africa has become a place I will forever hold in my heart. I could not find a single flaw in this place. Where to even begin? Food: The head chef is not only the sweetest man imaginable, but he knows how to dish up stunning plates of delicious African cuisine. We had all kinds of bush meat, decadent homemade desserts, tea time snacks, the list goes on! I appreciated the amount of fruits and vegetables offered throughout the day and I know that the lodge is extremely accommodating to any allergies or dietary restrictions. They will work with you! Also take advantage of the poolside bar, it is the perfect way to relax before your afternoon game drive. Tents: The tents are much larger than the photos make them out to be! The bed was very comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower and tub. The housekeepers (who were always so kind) tidied the room during each of our game drives. Laundry service was offered as well! All the decor was so beautiful and well taken care of. Staff: The staff was the best part of our entire time. The front of house staff was beyond accommodating, but in a way where they felt like family and not just staff. Always smiling, always asking how your day was going. The tracker we had all week for our drives was sweet and incredibly good at his job, I’m convinced he is part leopard the way he can track one down in the bush. Our guide we had all week was such a joy to be around, extremely knowledgeable and “married to the bush” as he says. He can ID any bird with just a glance and will share all kinds of entertaining stories during the group lunches and dinners. Even the owner came by a few times during our stay and was incredibly welcoming. The Safari vacation we took at Imagine Africa was so incredible to us on our honeymoon, I don’t think we will ever take a better trip. You know a special time was had when tears were shed and hugs were had when it was time to leave ❤️
