Gorah Elephant Camp

Very surprised and impressed by the personal touches at the lodge and the helpfulness and friendliest of the staff. One of the highlights of my trip along the garden route.

Gorah was an experience of a lifetime! We felt like royalty. Definitely one of our favourite stays. The staff were absolutely amazing (Donald, Simoné, Kevin, Siya. Nelly and Ellie - as well as all the staff behind the scenes.) Everything was catered for and the small touches of arrival and bedtime notes as well as sweet treats placed on the bed and hot water bottles at night made all the difference for a winter stay. Thank you Gorah!

Our expectations were truly exceeded at Gorrah. We had an amazing three night stay and the staff were absolutely fantastic - shout out to Justin, Elizabeth, Donald, Siya and Cheryl (and everyone else). Nothing was too much for them and they accommodated our every request. The food was absolutely delicious and the team kindly worked around all our dietary requirements. The lodge is situated around a watering hole in the middle of the bush and you truly experience the beauty of nature - stumbling across zebras walking to the tent to watching elephants whilst eating breakfast. Justin, our ranger was a fountain of knowledge, patiently explaining everything we were seeing and ensuring that we got the best from the experience. A huge thank you to the whole team for giving us memories of a lifetime.

Our stay at Gorah this past weekend was nothing short of spectacular. Every single staff member is friendly and will go out of their way to help you. The personal touch to each activity and the hand written notes make the entire experience very special. The staff really did go above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable.

We had a wonderful stay with several game drives at this beautifully located lodge just next to a water hole. A big thank you to Cheryl and the whole team for their outstanding hospitality and service. And a very special thank you to our excellent guide, Kevin.

Great Location, great views from the main house of big game. Very good guides and excellent service. The Gorah camp has a very cool safari charme to it! Highly recommended.

The ultimate in style combined with old world heritage. This is a resort where no effort is spared to make the guests experience only the best in accommodation, food, service and ultimately a wildlife adventure. This is right up there on the top shelf. Coming to Gorah is a great move... one of my best experiences.
