Chartwell Guest House

My fourth time staying at Chartwell guest house and it is always such a pleasure. Great service, friendly staff, prime location and never have an issue with load shedding and water because the bnb is off the grid. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Durban for work or holiday. ?

Beautiful place?very clean, fresh linen, even impressed me with my OCD? Love the Deco and themes for the different rooms??Came for business but extended my stay by another day. Experienced different Rooms and loved them both.. Friendly staff, very helpful. Happy is amazing, very sweet?? I will definitely recommend it and next time am in Durban, I'll come stay here??

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at Chartwell Guest House. We received a very warm welcome from Zama and Happy and shown where we could find everything. A water fountain to help ourselves to filtered water although other water, being borehole water, was safe for consumption. The facility offered all the necessary requirements and was most comfortable. Happy, Charity, and Zama, prepared an amazing breakfast for us. They are such an asset and take pride in their place of work. We could not fault Chartwell Guest House in any way and would be our place of choice in the future. Highly recommended. Had a wonderful stay at Chartwell Guest House, the rooms are clean and the view from the back is really nice. The breakfast was great, they have a nice spread to choose from. Please consider giving your guests complimentary water in their rooms.

We stayed at Chartwell for one night but wished it could have been for more. It was absolutely beautiful, clean, breakfast was delicious and the hostess, Lorraine was wonderful!! We will definitely be back!!
