Casa Karibu

Casa Karibu is a privately owned idyllic double-storey self-catering home set right on the beach in a wilderness reserve, on the beautiful Santa Maria Peninsula in Mozambique. Strategically positioned on one of the front sites of the bay, the views of Inhaca Island, the twinkling evening lights of Maputo and the magnificent vivid orange sunsets are spectacular.

Casa Karibu can accommodate 8-10 guests comfortably, and has 4 spacious light and airy bedrooms, all with sea views and beautifully styled in cool summery hues. The air-conditioned main bedroom with a king-size bed is en-suite, and located upstairs along with the office or second bedroom which has a queen-size bed. The third and fourth bedrooms are located downstairs and share a bathroom.

The living area includes an open-plan kitchen with a service counter to the deck and the lounge with large comfortable sofas. Tall glass sliders lead to the enormous deck with breathtaking views and the large sparkling pool which is situated on the lower deck, amidst ancient Milkwood trees and a lush dune forest.

Casa Karibu has direct access to the pristine, secluded beaches fringed by the safe and warm waters of the tidal bay. Roll out of bed, feel soft pristine sand between your toes, splash into the turquoise ocean for a swim. What a way to start your day.
