11 Raptors Lodge

The rooms were nicely designed, though a bit too see-through for my taste. Everything needed for self-catering was provided, which was convenient. The outdoor shower was a great feature! However, I didn’t like having the bed and toilet in the same room—it felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by impertinent mice in the room. They kept me awake all night, even climbing onto the bed, which was absolutely horrible. To make matters worse, management didn’t respond at all when we reported the issue. Lastly, the location was a bit hard to find. Overall, while the place had some nice features, the lack of hygiene and management response made it a very unpleasant experience.

Please go. That’s the review, that’s all you need. Go. Three things: 1. It’s bushy, many creepy crawlies. So closed doors and windows always 2. Don’t leave stuff outside at night. Monkeys come by in the early mornings 3. It’s a long drive. From wherever you coming from. It’s far But go!! Everything is perfect!

Beautiful and spacious apartments with large beds,own parking, and jacuzzi. The only problem here is that there's no breakfast served on site

A great spot to take a short break. It is conveniently located in the edge of Hoedspruit, close to some restaurants and shops.

The place to pick up the keys is hard to find and the staff is not friendly at all. They wanted to charge us a supplement when we had already paid for everything. He had to call the person in charge to clarify that everything was paid for. The services are not what they say on Booking. No washing machine, no wifi. There is no air conditioning in the living room. The pots and pans are old and have such a warped bottom that they do not make contact with the electric stove. It is not possible to cook. The pool has a creepy/pool cleaner that you are not allowed to take out and that makes bathing very uncomfortable and not at all pleasant. I would not recommend it.

We love love love Raptors Lodge! Our third time and it just keeps getting better, everything you need for a mid week getaway in a slice of paradise. We requested our favourite lodge and got it!

We stayed in unit 13. Absolutely brilliant. Monique is absolutely amazing she goes the extra mile with everything. There was a problem with Eskom and we had NO electricity for one night, however Monique made sure we were comfortable with LED lanterns, gas stove etc. THANK YOU Monique you made every moment special. Has a bush feel to it but too close to the road for my liking. Also all the units are different same layout but different pools and fittings
